  While I may certainly be biased, being that this is my mother's café, I must say that though I saw the locale rise from the dust of remodeling to its present state, even I was surprised when I first walked into it a few months ago. I had last seen it in its final stages, when there were still tarps draped over everything. A Place To Land is truly a unique feature of Tipton, something one would expect to find in a much larger city and in a very trendy part of it indeed.
  
  However, though it is certainly an artistic place, the employees are some of the most down-to-earth people you will meet, the kind who ask "How are you?" and really are interested in knowing. It is little wonder that the café had regulars long before it even opened.
  
  Besides, where else are you going to find gelato in Small Town, Iowa, and where else can you eat and drink on a piece of art that you can own at the right price? Stop by A Place To Land in Tipton, Iowa and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
